Dear Agility Enthusiast,
Clean Run, the magazine for dog agility enthusiasts, is pleased to announce the first annual World Agility Open Championships (WAO). This exciting new international agility event will be held on May 13-15, 2011 at the Hand Equestrian Centre in Great Britain.
The WAO is the first world championship event created and managed by agility competitors. Our goal is to provide the ultimate in dog agility competition; showcase the highest level of agility training, human/canine partnership, and athleticism; and enable all dogs, whether pedigreed or not, to compete in an environment that is solely focused on the sport of agility.
We have had a great response and already have over 20 countries lined up within the first 4 weeks. We are also pleased to announce our judges for the event will be Mia Laamanen from Finland, Andy Hudson from England, and Dave Grubel from USA. For complete details please visit

We want Estonia to be a part of this premiere event and I am contacting you to see if you have a suggestion for a Team Organizer for Estonia. The team organizer is responsible for defining selection criteria for the country and selecting team members. If you would be interested in this position, please let me know; if not, could you suggest someone else for me to contact who you think could fill the position.
We would also like to clarify our goals for this event. We do not intend to compete against any other international event nor do we seek to become an international agility organization. Our intention is only to run an annual agility event highlighting the “best of the best” in our sport. We are inviting the FCI, EO & IFCS winners to compete if they are not already on their respective national teams. We have also scheduled the event for May so as not to be in conflict with the EO or FCI Agility WC, or an IFCS event.
I look forward to hearing from you. Please let me know if you have any questions.
